Frequently asked

The things people ask before booking

If the answer you need is not here, call us — we would rather tell you than have you guess.

What does dinner cost?
The menu is à la carte. Dishes run from $14 to $46, so what you spend is up to you — most tables land somewhere between $50 and $90 a head before drinks.
How long should we allow?
About an hour. We hold each table for fifty minutes and turn it in ten, which is how we can seat people from ten in the morning until close. We would rather tell you that when you book than hurry you at the end.
Is there a dress code?
No. Some people dress up because it is that kind of evening. Come as you are comfortable.
Can you cater for dietary requirements?
Every dish lists its main ingredients, so you can see what is in it before you order. We also label dishes Vegan, Vegetarian, or as dishes that can be made without gluten-containing ingredients. We do not publish allergen information — see the dietary page for why. Tell your server or use the notes box when you book, and the kitchen will do what it can. No notice needed.
Can we bring children?
Yes, at any table, and we have high chairs.
What if we need to cancel?
Cancel or change any time up to 24 hours before and there is nothing to pay. Inside 24 hours we ask you to call rather than cancel online, so we can try to fill the table.
Do you take large parties?
Up to eight online. For nine or more, choose "9 or more" on the booking form and we will call you back — a table that size needs a conversation about where to seat you. If you are feeding a hundred, that is catering, and there is a form for it.
Can we take photographs?
Of course. We would ask you to keep the flash off, out of fairness to the table next to you.
